Lytham Windmill has been updated for the 2014 season with new display and exhibits

Lytham Windmill Museum New Display

Lytham Windmill Museum run by Lytham Heritage Group, and now in its 26^th year, has also been updated for the 2014 season. There are new and updated displays including a exhibit of training manoeuvres on Lytham Green for the 100^thCentenary of the World War 1. The museum also contains a Tourist Information centre run by Fylde Borough Council.

The season continues until 14 September and is open Wednesdays to Sundays including bank holidays from 10:30am until 4:30pm. The mill will just be closed for the Lytham Proms from 30 July to 3 August. For school trips only the mill is available Mondays and Tuesdays by contacting listening@fylde.gov.uk. It’s a great venue for all the family and it’s free. Check it out on the website or Facebook page.
